If one can stay for longer in meditations, one can be a Buddha.
There is a Zen Story.
A student of Zen went to his meditation teacher and said, “Meditation is so difficult; I feel distracted, my legs ache, and I scrumptiously fall asleep; this is unbearable!”
“It will pass,” said the master.
A week later, the student came back to the master. “My meditation is wonderful! I feel aware, so peaceful, so alive! It’s just wonderful!’
“It will pass,” the master said.
Meditate, stay longer, thinking the effort will pass and you too will be a Buddha.
