Non-violence is fundamentally admitted as non-harm. Harm can be inflicted by one being on others or on one self through act, words or thought. In our everyday life we essentially attribute physical harm with violence. From domestic to terrorists’ violence. In one of the Freud-Einstein correspondence, it was asked, why war? Is there anything in human reality which tempts them to undertake war. Freud replies, inability to resolve conflict enforces war. Sociologist Max Weber says it happens because of structural violence. Dissatisfaction and steps against system can become more violent if its causes are not set out. Thus, one will accommodate such violence as "defensive violence". When people are deprived of their basic rights, to preach or tell them the stories of non-violence can turn out superfluous.
A very small section of the population, who are elite, are not given the lessons of equitable distribution of resources. Despite this fact, the grater part of population is not becoming violent this is astonishing of the impressions of some beliefs, religions or moral teachings. Nevertheless, they are made to be violent due to system.
Thus, transformation at both: individual and social level is important. Mass revolution must come up for more awareness. Many revolutions and struggle wars have been wedged against material profits such as
Industrialization
Technology
Trusteeship/ etc.
Why no revolutions are so prompt for non-violence? To state a few, Black Life Matters (BLM, 2020) against racism, "Me too" for women rights (2019) "Anti abortion" (2020) movement by pro-life activist, nayāmoḍa (1970) against bribery, turning into huge revolutions. Such steps are needed for human progress and the direction of growth is not possible without nonviolence at personal & systemic level. This is rather a scientific and not by belief in God or religion approach. Mass revolution must come up for structural transformation as it is the source of fast system transformation.
The truth after the curtains rise is artificial, when the curtains fall, Truth menifest in its true form and is visible. fall of eye lid reveal the truth, that is meditation and that is the moment of awakening.
